Media Giant Hosting Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

The Media Giant Hosting Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) provides clear guidelines for our customers and users, ensuring a responsible and secure online environment. All users of Media Giant Hosting services, including subscribers and those accessing services without accounts, must comply with this AUP and our Terms of Service (TOS). By using Media Giant Hosting services, you agree to this AUP and TOS.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Violations of this AUP may result in service suspension or termination without prior notice.

Purpose of the AUP

This AUP ensures:

Reliable service for all customers.
Security and privacy of Media Giant Hosting’s network and systems.
Compliance with applicable laws.
Responsible use of the Internet.
Preservation of the Internet as a platform for free expression and information exchange.

While Media Giant Hosting supports the free flow of information, activities that harm our network or the Internet community are not permitted. If we detect inappropriate use, Media Giant Hosting reserves the right to take appropriate action.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities constitute violations of this AUP:

1. Illegal Use

Use of Media Giant Hosting services for illegal purposes or in support of illegal activities is prohibited.

2. Harm to Minors

Activities that exploit, harm, or attempt to harm minors, including child pornography, are strictly prohibited.

3. Threats and Harassment

Transmission of materials that threaten, harass, or encourage harm or property destruction is not allowed.

4. Fraudulent Activities

Using Media Giant Hosting services for fraudulent activities, including pyramid schemes or scams, is prohibited.

5. Impersonation or Forgery

Modifying network headers to mislead or impersonate another person is not allowed.

6. SPAM and Bulk Email

Transmission of unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) is prohibited. Media Giant Hosting limits commercial email to no more than 1,000 messages per day at a rate of 250 messages every 30 minutes. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

7. Unauthorized Access

Attempting to access unauthorized accounts, networks, or systems is prohibited.

8. Copyright and Trademark Infringement

Transmission of materials that infringe intellectual property rights, including copyrighted content, is not permitted.

9. Distribution of Viruses

Distributing malicious software intended to harm or disrupt systems is prohibited.

10. Network Disruptions

Activities that disrupt or degrade network performance, including denial-of-service (DOS) attacks, are not allowed.

11. Inappropriate Software Use

Use of software that excessively consumes system resources or negatively impacts network performance is prohibited.

12. Verbal Abuse of Staff

Abusive or profane language directed at Media Giant Hosting employees will not be tolerated and may result in service termination.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activities by third parties such as friends, family, or employees.
You must take steps to secure your account credentials and prevent unauthorized access.
You may not share your account password or allow unauthorized users to access your account.
Unauthorized use of another user’s account or network is strictly prohibited.

Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this AUP, please contact Media Giant Hosting’s Abuse Department at support@mediagianthosting.com. Include the following details:

IP address involved.
Date and time of the incident.
Evidence supporting the violation (e.g., email headers, logs).

Actions for Violations

Media Giant Hosting may take the following actions in response to AUP violations:

Issue warnings (verbal or written).
Suspend or terminate accounts.
Bill customers for administrative costs or reactivation fees.
Pursue legal action for damages caused by violations.

Revisions to the AUP

Media Giant Hosting reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this AUP, TOS, and other policies at any time. Updates will be communicated in accordance with our TOS.
